Auxiliary Board Focuses on
Giving Kids a Good Life
The Auxiliary Board has been supporting the Home for more than six decades, working hard to fill needs St. Mary’s otherwise could not meet. As current President Ann Gimbert says, the Board’s focus is “all about the children, and I don’t think you can have a better mission or a better goal than that.”
In 2015, the Auxiliary held its 10th Annual Gala and Auction fundraiser, which raised nearly $100,000 and had record attendance, with a sold-out crowd of 350. The Board has funded, among other things, lessons through the EQUI-KIDS therapeutic riding program, respiratory therapy vests, and tuxedoes and other items for St. Mary’s annual prom.
