INTERNATIONAL ORDER OF ALHAMBRA HITS THE LINKS TO RAISE MONEY FOR ST. MARY’S HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
WHAT The International Order of Alhambra’s Padul Caravan #69 will hold a Four-Person Florida Best Ball golf tournament to benefit St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children in Norfolk. Entry fee is $90 per person/$360 per team and includes cart, green fees, drinks, gift bag, awards ceremony and dinner.
WHY Part of the mission of the International Order of Alhambra, a fraternal order of Catholic men, is to provide assistance, education and residences for people with developmental disabilities. Last year’s golf tournament raised $10,000 for St. Mary’s Home, the only pediatric long-term-care residential facility of its kind in Virginia, providing complex care for children and young adults with severe disabilities.
WHEN Thursday, Sept.18. Registration at 11 a.m., shotgun start at 12:30 p.m., dinner and awards ceremony immediately following the tournament at Ocean View Golf Course Pavilion.
