AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS OF ST. MARY’S HOME FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
WHAT The Auxiliary Board of St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children presents the 4th Annual “There’s No Place Like Home” Gala and Auction. Proceeds benefit the children and young adults of St. Mary’s Home for Disabled Children. Event includes a three-course dinner, live music and silent and live auctions featuring exotic travel packages and the opportunity to help SMHDC get a mermaid of its own leading up to the publication of a special anniversary edition of the children’s book “There Goes a Mermaid” by Lisa Suhay. The new edition honors the 10th anniversary of the city of Norfolk’s mermaid symbol – which inspired a public art project – and SMHDC’s 65th anniversary.
