St. Mary’s Home Raffle – Rules

Raffle Rules

Open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older, including employees, directors and immediate families of St. Mary’s Home For Disabled Children and the Auxiliary Board of St. Mary’s Home For Disabled Children. A random drawing will be held on April 14, 2018, at The Founders Inn. The winner will win a Toyota Corolla (the “Prize”).

No substitution or transfer of Prize permitted. The winner will be notified within 5 days of drawing and need not be present to win. If the winner cannot be located or does not respond and claim the Prize within thirty (30) days of date of drawing, another winner will be drawn. You may obtain the name of the winner after May 31, 2018, by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Auxiliary Board of St. Mary’s Home, P.O. Box 2184, Norfolk, Virginia 23501.

The Prize is currently titled in the name of the Auxiliary Board Of St. Mary’s Home For Disabled Children and may have limited promotional miles at the time of the drawing. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The price of the raffle ticket is not tax deductible. The odds of winning are dependent on the number of raffle tickets purchased. The decision of the Auxiliary Board of St. Mary’s Home For Disabled Children in all matters relating to the rules and administration of the raffle shall be final.

Winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and sign a consent form allowing the use of his/her name, photo, or likeness for promotional and advertising purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. All purchasers of raffle tickets and entrants, including without limitation the winner, release the Auxiliary Board of St. Mary’s Home For Disabled Children, St. Mary’s Home For Disabled Children, Checkered Flag Store #6, L.L.C. d/b/a Checkered Flag Hyundai/Volkswagen, and their respective officers, directors, members, managers and employees from any and all claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with entering, winning, receipt or use of the Prize.
